Who we are

Big Dear is here to help busy parents support their children to develop their confidence, self-esteem and creativity by providing thoughtful resources to be used at home and at school.

The products offered have evolved with the intention of supporting children as they grow and move through the different stages of their childhood and with the challenges they may face. There are also products centred around the joys of childhood and parenthood, such as the magic of celebrations, like Christmases and birthdays, and the wonder of the changing seasons and the world around us.

I have very fond memories of my own childhood as well as memories of times that felt hard, and I see similar emotions and experiences from a different perspective now, as a mother of three and a teacher of fifteen years. The products I offer have developed from years of trial and error with my own children and I hope that now others can benefit from them too.
